By installing or using StoryPulse ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. These terms apply to all users of StoryPulse, including free and paid plan users.
StoryPulse is an Atlassian Forge app that reads data from your Jira instance and uses AI (Anthropic Claude API) to generate narrative reports, which can be published to Confluence or exported in various formats. The App operates entirely within the Atlassian Forge platform.
You must have a valid Atlassian Cloud account and the necessary permissions within your Atlassian instance to install and use StoryPulse. By using the App, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or your organisation.
StoryPulse offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers. Plan limits (report counts, refinement counts) are enforced per calendar month and reset at the start of each month. Paid plans are billed through the Atlassian Marketplace. Akaneo Labs does not directly handle payment information.
Plan limits are subject to change with reasonable notice. Continued use of the App after a plan change constitutes acceptance of the updated limits.

The App, including its code, design, and functionality, is owned by Akaneo Labs. Report content generated by the App using your Jira data is owned by you. Akaneo Labs claims no ownership over the narrative reports generated for your organisation.
Your use of StoryPulse is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
StoryPulse uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate narrative content. By using StoryPulse, you acknowledge that your Jira data (issue summaries, descriptions, assignee names, statuses, and user-provided context) is sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic's terms and privacy policy apply to that processing. You are responsible for ensuring your use of StoryPulse complies with your organisation's data governance policies.
StoryPulse is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Akaneo Labs does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Akaneo Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use StoryPulse. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the three months preceding the claim.
Akaneo Labs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue StoryPulse at any time with reasonable notice. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of significant changes via the Atlassian Marketplace listing or by email to the address associated with your Atlassian account.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of StoryPulse after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of North Macedonia, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
